Healthy Juicer Recipes – Carrot Apple Ginger

I’m always on the hunt for healthy juicer recipes.  One of my favorite juices to make is a blend of carrot, apple, and ginger root.  This was the first juice recipe I experimented with many years ago and is still a staple in my juice list.  Continue reading for the health benefits and recipe!

To make this juice, you will need the following:

Ingredients:

4 carrots, cut into 2-3 inch lengths

1 apple, cut into eighths

1 slice of ginger, peeled and cut 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick

Directions: 

Alternate adding the carrot, apple, and ginger to your juicer until all items have been processed.  Pour into a class and enjoy!  This recipe will make enough for approximately 1 serving.

Drinking fresh carrot juice helps to cleanse the liver.  Juice from apples not only helps to add some sweetness but, it is also rich in antioxidants that help the body with detoxification.  The addition of the ginger, which is rich in anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, really adds a bolt of flavor to this juice!
