Lancome Paris Teint Miracle Foundation

Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation

When I was first starting out with makeup, like many people, I went to the M.A.C counter first.  Now, this isn’t to say that M.A.C. doesn’t make good products (I own quite a few actually!).  It’s just that I was so accustomed to going to M.A.C. and only them, for my choice in “high end”, non-drugstore foundation.

Over time, I really wanted to try something new.  I had heard some good things about many high end brands of cosmetics.  The ladies on Long Hair Care Forum highly recommended a foundation from Lancome.  I figured, why not go to Sephora, get a sample, and see how it works out for me.  Well, I did just that and let me tell you, I think I’ve found my new favorite foundation!

I had never thought to ask for a sample of anything while in Sephora so, I was a bit nervous!  That might seem silly to you but, I was afraid I would be told no!  But, as with all things, what’s the worst that can happen if you ask and someone says no?  You’ll be in the same place you were before you asked!

Sephora

So, one morning, I went to Sephora and walked up to the Lancome display. {maybe insert picture of lancome display at sephora}.  I told the Sephora rep I was interested in trying the Lancome Paris Teint Miracle foundation and asked if she could help match me to a shade.  She was really nice and pulled out a couple of foundation samples.  After applying them and looking in the mirror, we settled on 460 Suede W.  I asked her if I could get sample, since this was a new foundation for me and I wanted to see how it held up under different lighting conditions (daylight, indoors, evening, etc.).  She said that was doable and packed up a little container for me.

Let me tell you.  I got my full use out of that sample container!  I got the sample back on January 5th of this year.  I purchased a full bottle of the foundation on March 25th.

Now, I wasn’t wearing it daily but, this can kinda give you an idea how long the sample might last you if you’re thinking about getting some.  Let’s get into some swatches!

Here’s how the foundation looks against my skin.

In this picture, all I have on my face is some moisturizer.  This is how it looks after I initially apply it.  This is from one pump of the foundation.

After I buff it in, these are the results.

After it’s had time to absorb into my skin, this is what I’m left with.  Isn’t it gorgeous?!? {insert picture after absorbed}

I then will follow it up with a translucent powder to set everything into place.

Lancome claims this foundation can benefit the skin by enhancing the skin’s natural light, making the complexion appear flawless and full of life; providing skin hydration for 18 hours, helping to protect the skin  from UV damage (SPF 15); helping to prevent breakouts since it is non-irritating.  Lancome Teint Miracle contains 37% pure water and rose extract.  It is oil-free and fragrance free

I love how this looks against my skin.  The pump dispenser also comes in quite handy.  I use one pump for my entire face.

Lancome Teint Miracle foundation can be found at the Lancome USA website or department store cosmetic counters (Nordstrom, Macy’s etc.).  It retails for approximately $40.

Have you tried this foundation?  What about other Lancome products?  Let me know!
